Barbecued Steak - Ranch Style

Serves: 4
- 4 (4-5 oz. each) Certified Angus Beef ® top blade steaks
Barbecue Sauce:
- 1 cup flat beer
- 1 cup hickory or mesquite smoked barbecue sauce
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- Combine barbecue sauce ingredients. Place steaks in shallow dish; pour sauce over steaks. Refrigerate and marinate for 25-30 minutes.
- Broil steaks 3-5 inches from source of heat for 5-6 minutes for medium-rare, or grill over moderately hot coals for 3-4 minutes per side, or to the desired degree of doneness. Brush steaks frequently with sauce while grilling.
