London Broil

Recipe by: BQBGuide

Prep time:

Get a nice 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 inch thick piece of top round.

Marinate overnight or at least 8 hours in the following marinade:

2/3 Cup Soy Sauce
1 Tbs dry mustard
1 tsp Ground ginger
1 Tbs dried minced onion or 2 Tbs fresh chopped
2 tsps dried minced garlic or 1 tsp crushed fresh
6 Tbs molasses
1/3 Cup olive oil

For this marinade I prefer the dried minced garlic and onion rather than fresh since it clings nicely to the beef and therefore smells wonderful as it is grilled. Usually, fresh is better--but not here.

Grill about 8 minutes each side for rare. Slice the meat very thin on the diagonal. You won't be disappointed! Bon appetit!

Bless us oh lord, for these gifts which we are about to receive, from thy bounty, through Christ our Lord. Amen. Visit Hickory Works!
