Get a nice 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 inch thick piece of top round.
Marinate overnight or at least 8 hours in the following marinade:
2/3 Cup Soy Sauce
1 Tbs dry mustard
1 tsp Ground ginger
1 Tbs dried minced onion or 2 Tbs fresh chopped
2 tsps dried minced garlic or 1 tsp crushed fresh
6 Tbs molasses
1/3 Cup olive oil
For this marinade I prefer the dried minced garlic and onion rather than fresh
since it clings nicely to the beef and therefore smells wonderful as it is
grilled. Usually, fresh is better--but not here.
Grill about 8 minutes each side for rare. Slice the meat very thin on the
diagonal. You won't be disappointed! Bon appetit!
