NC BBQ Sauce

Serves:
1 Gallon white vinegar (NOT cider vinegar)
1-1.5 cups crushed red pepper
1/4 cup salt
1 quart water
3-4 tablespoons black pepper
3 table spoons paprika
1 lemon (squeezed)
1/4 - 1/2 cup sugar
Mix all of this together and boil vigorously for about 30 minutes or
so. If you plan on doing this in the house, you may want to reconsider
as boiling vinegar gives off quite a strong odor (g)!
You can sop your bbq while it is cooking, and use the sauce on the
table as well.
